Monday visits – June 1st

To start the conference, participants are invited to join guided visits of Caen. These activities are offered free of charge and are designed as an informal and engaging introduction to the city.

Time: 18:30 – 20:30
Duration: 2 hours
Meeting point: Le Phénix (Campus 1, Université de Caen)

These activities are organised by Casse-tête Normand, specialists in interactive cultural experiences and guided tours in Normandy.

Participants will be divided into groups (max. ~30 participants per group). Two parallel formats will be proposed:

Guided city tour

A guided walking tour of Caen, providing historical and cultural insights into the city, its heritage, and its landmarks.

End point: city centre (Saint-Pierre area)

Treasure hunt – “Rallye to Remonter le temps”

An interactive team-based exploration of Caen through a playful treasure hunt. Participants will solve clues and discover key locations across the city.

Group size: up to ~30 participants
Language: English
End point: city centre (Saint-Pierre area)

Both activities will end in the city centre, allowing participants to continue their evening freely.
