Keynote Speaker

We are proud to welcome Professor Louis Bherer as a keynote speaker at the EGRAPA 2026 Congress, to be held in Caen from June 1st to 3rd, 2026.

A clinical neuropsychologist and Full Professor in the Department of Medicine at the Université de Montréal, Professor Bherer also serves as Director of the ÉPIC Centre at the Montreal Heart Institute. The ÉPIC Centre plays an international leading role in promoting healthy lifestyle habits and preventing cardiovascular risk factors, with a strong presence in the community. At the ÉPIC Centre, Louis Bherer leads programs that combine exercise, cognitive training, and lifestyle interventions, implemented both on-site and at home, as part of a broader research focus on the interplay between cardiovascular health, cognitive aging, and lifestyle factors, with a growing emphasis on inclusive, personalized prevention strategies.

In his keynote, Professor Bherer will explore these themes, with particular attention to how tailored interventions can help deliver the right prevention to the right person, at the right time and in the right context.
